The Bayard Political Card allows a player to save 50% of deposit when acquiring a concession. It can be used only once and is valid either for a railroad concession or a branch-line concession. The Political Card closes when the power is exercised.

The Melisurgo Political Card allows a Corporation to get + 2.5% of secured interests when building a railroad. It can be used only once. The benefit is for all the shareholders. The Political Card closes when the power is exercised.

The Panfilo Political Card allows a player to exercise a priority right when, during a stock round, another player tries to acquire a concession (either a railroad or a branch-line concession), which he is interested in. The player using this special power acquires the disputed concession immediately (paying any required deposit on it) and the turn returns to the player who performed the originally attempt to acquire the concession. It can be used only once. The Political Card closes when the power is exercised.

The Falcon Political Card allows a player to reach an agreement with the Pontifical State in order to erase taxes for Pontecorvo and Benevento stations. The +30 bonus token is placed on the Benevento station and a +10 bonus token is placed on Pontecorvo station. The bonus token counts for all the railroads including the related stations in their route. It can be used only from PH-2 on. The Political Card closes when the power is exercised.

The Delahante Political Card allows a Corporation to reach an agreement with the Pontifical State in order to connect Rome to its route. That is, at all effects, a regular concession to lay tracks in order to connect Rome out-map location in the route. It can be used only from PH-2 on, but in any case, the connection for Rome is fully opened from PH-4 on. The Political Card closes when the power is exercised.

The Valadous Political Card allows a Corporation to get the Caserta-Capua railroad, previously built by the Bourbon Monarchy. Until a Corporation does not acquire the Caserta-Capua railroad, upgrading Capua with a green tile is not allowed. When played, the involved corporation could immediately upgrade Capua with a green tile (even if no yellow tile has been laid previously on it). The new tile has to be connected to the Corporation ordinary line and is in addition to the ordinary tile placement. When laying the tile, the player is obliged to maintain any existing connection and to superimpose the new track to the pre-printed Caserta-Capua track on the map. It can be used only from PH-2 on. The Political Card closes when the power is exercised. Moreover, at the end of the Political Round, the player acquiring it receives the Linea degli Abruzzi Concession for free as further benefit. However, if the concession has not been used to launch the associated corporation in the very first stock round, it is returned to the initial offering chart without compensation.

Until a Corporation does not acquire the Nola-Cancello railroad, upgrading Nola with a green tile is not allowed. When played, the involved corporation could immediately upgrade Nola with a green tile (even if no yellow tile has been laid previously on it). The new tile has to be connected to the Corporation ordinary line and is in addition to the ordinary tile placement.
