====================================
London, 04 October 2006
While pleased for the fact that the NN went sold out, KIng Ferdinand II looked very disappointed for the launch of a railroad along the Adriatic cost that could potentially collect all the freight traffic from the North down to the Southern ports where the goods are then shipped to the Far East. Such a railroad will in fact diminish the importance of the Bourbon kingdom capital, Napoli.

Consequently, King Ferdinand II invites brave enterpreneurs to bid for a new railroad that starting from Salerno will reach the Southern Adriatic ports, the so called FST. The goods will transit through Naples via the NN railroad or arrive via ships to Salerno port and from there will make their way to Taranto port.
The famigerate british baron J. Draper having seen a clear business opportunity has now taken over the ambitious project.
====================================

The three higher political cards are bought at nominal value. More competition for political cards #1 and #5 instead. Lucio ends up with two certificates but he is also short of cash now. A new auction is launched for card #3
